Welcome to PRECIOUS PEG.  Below are the terms and conditions for shopping at PRECIOUS PEG.

Please read all information carefully before shopping with us. 

By using our website and shopping with us, you agree to the terms and conditions set out below.  If you are under 16 years you must let your parent or guardian know about our Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions before you register to use our website or any of our websites services. We reserve the right to only accept orders from those customers over 18 years.

We reserve the right to amend the terms and conditions from time to time without notice.

PLACING AN ORDER

Once you've placed your order, you will receive an email confirming receipt of your order.  All orders are processed for payment at the time the order is received (including pre-orders).  This email also constitutes the invoice for your order (a separate paper invoice will not be sent). Once your order has been dispatched, a shipping confirmation email will be sent which contains the tracking number for your order.


RETURNS

You are welcome to return any item (excluding Fine Jewellery and Sale Items) within 7 days of receipt.

All items must be returned in original condition with all tags attached, be unworn, unused, unwashed and unaltered. Damaged, soiled, washed or altered items will not be accepted and will be returned to the customer.

All shoes must be returned unmarked and in their original, undamaged shoe box.

Please email us at sales@preciouspeg.com within 3 days with the reason for returning the item.   A Return Authorisation Number will then be issued.  Returned items that do not have a Return Authorisation Number will not be accepted.

LATE RETURNS

Items must be returned within 7 days of receipt.  Returns outside this timeframe are accepted at the sole discretion of PRECIOUS PEG.  Please email us at sales@preciouspeg.com

 

GIFT RETURNS

If you receive an item as a gift (with the exception of Fine Jewellery) you may exchange it for a store credit which will be made available against your account.  The credit amount will be allocated to your account on receipt and inspection of the returned item.  Damaged, soiled, washed or altered items will not be accepted and will be returned to the customer.

FOOTWEAR RETURNS

All footwear must be tried on a carpeted, protected surface until you are certain you are keeping them.  Footwear should be returned unmarked, unaltered and in their original, undamaged shoe box as this is considered part of the product.  Any footwear that is returned with marked or worn soles, has been altered in any way or is returned without a box or in a damaged box will not be accepted and will be sent back to the customer.


BEAUTY

Skincare, cosmetics, hair care and fragrance must be returned unused, unopened and in their original packaging otherwise they will not be accepted and will be sent back to the customer.

We do not accept returns on nail polish so please choose carefully.

 

LINGERIE

Briefs should be tried on over underwear without removing the protective adhesive strip.  Returns will not be accepted if this strip has been removed or if items have been worn, washed, damaged, soiled or altered in any way.

 

EXCHANGES

If you wish to exchange an item for another size please email us at sales@preciouspeg.com with the size you require.  All exchanges are based on stock availability.  A Return Authorisation Number will then be issued to return your item.  Once received, the replacement item will be sent to you free of charge however all taxes, duties and customs charges incurred on deliveries outside New Zealand will be your responsibility.

Should you wish to exchange your item for an alternative style, you will need to return your order for a store credit and purchase the new item as a separate order.  The store credit will be made available against your PRECIOUS PEG account.

 

REFUNDS

Your refund will be credited to the card used to complete the original purchase or to your PRECIOUS PEG account.

Please note that refunds to your card may take up to 10 working days to be processed and cleared by your bank.

Taxes, duties and other customs charged are non-refundable by PRECIOUS PEG.

Please note:  if any item purchased is found to have been used for a commercial purpose, such item will not be eligible for a refund.  Sale items are not eligible for a credit, refund or exchange (unless faulty) so please choose carefully.  


SALE ITEMS

Please note that all sale items are final (including any purchase made during a promotion using a discount code) and cannot be credited, refunded or exchanged (unless faulty) so please choose carefully.

Only one sales promotion will be accepted per transaction.  If an item is already on sale or reduced from the original recommended retail price, a promotion code will not be eligible.

Our free shipping service may not be available on sale items.  Should you purchase a full priced item together with a sale item, we will send your order free of charge.  Please refer to our Shipping Policy for further information on shipping costs.

 

DISCOUNT OR PROMOTIONAL CODES

All discount codes or promotional codes issued to valued customers are personal to each customer and cannot be passed on, sold or used by any other person.

Any transaction completed by another person who is not the recipient of the discount or promotional code will be cancelled immediately.

Any item purchased using a discount code or promotional code which offers a fixed price or percentage discount or free gift with purchase is deemed to be an item sold on sale and our Sale Items policy will apply. 

Only one discount code may be used per transaction. GIFT with PURCHASE - If an item is purchased as part of a Gift-with-purchase transaction, the gift must also be returned in an unworn and un used condition (with all tags attached).


DAMAGED GOODS

We will repair, exchange or refund any item you receive that is damaged on delivery provided your order is returned to us within 7 days of receipt of your order. 

Should you receive a damaged item please email us at sales@preciouspeg.com and we will issue you with a Return Authorisation Number.

 

CANCELLATION

You may cancel an order that you have placed with us within 24 hours of placing that order.  If your order has been dispatched, it can no longer be cancelled however your order may be eligible for return.  Please refer to our Returns policy for further information.

Precious Peg may refuse to accept any order if fraudulent activity is suspected. Precious Peg may refuse to process any subsequent order from a customer who has a history of placing fraudulent orders. Precious Peg may refuse any order that is connected with a previous credit card dispute. If we suspect your order may be fraudulent or part of a criminal activity we will cancel your order. 

 

PRE-ORDERS

New seasons collections may be offered to you on pre-order from time to time.  This enables you to purchase a new season’s item before it is released from the Designer for retail sale.  Items are delivered to you immediately once we receive them from the Designer.

All items purchased using our pre-order service must be paid for in full prior to release.  The delivery times for each item will depend on release of each collection from the Designer.  We can provide an estimated time for delivery however we cannot guarantee delivery dates.

Should a Designer delete an item from production ( or release limited stock) that has been sold by way of pre-order, we will notify you immediately by email and refund the purchase price.

 

SPECIAL ORDERS

Some of our Designers offer a special order service on each season’s collection.  Should you wish to order a specific item we are happy to contact the Designer and arrange a special order on your behalf.  Such orders are dependent on stock and fabric ability from the Designer and must be paid for in full when your order is confirmed with the Designer.  Please contact us at sales@preciouspeg.com to enquire about this service.

 

GIFT CARDS

Gift Vouchers or Gift Cards cannot be exchanged for cash or purchased with a discount/promotional code, if an item is purchased with a gift card and returned - a store credit will be issued.

 

SHIPPING AND DELIVERIES

Before we can dispatch your order, we may need to confirm the validity of the transaction with our bank and your details with your card issuer.

All orders are dispatched within 1-3 working days of receipt of the order depending on stock levels.  Should there be a delay with dispatching your order from our warehouse, we will advise you immediately by email.

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email to the registered email address you have provided.  The shipping confirmation email contains the tracking number for your order.

Our delivery times vary depending on your location.  Orders shipped within New Zealand have a 2-7 working day delivery time.

We use Courier Post to ship all orders within New Zealand.  You can track your order at www.courierpost.co.nz/track/track-and-trace

We use DHL, NZ POST and FedEx to ship orders to international destinations.  Please refer to our shipping rates for charges and delivery times on international deliveries.

Please note that the delivery service is a door to door service and not a person to person service.  A signature is required on delivery of all orders.  We cannot deliver to a PO Box address so please provide a physical address when placing your order.

Insurance for lost or damaged goods to the value of $1,500.00 NZD is included with all orders.

Shipping charges are non-refundable.

 

PRIVACY POLICY

We at PRECIOUS PEG, respect the privacy rights of our visitors and recognise the importance of protecting the information provided by our visitors and customers.  We have a company wide Privacy Policy that outlines how we collect, store and use the information provided by our visitors and customers.   

We have provided the following information to ensure our visitors are fully informed of our Privacy Policy.  By visiting PRECIOUS PEG you are accepting and consenting to the practices described in this Privacy Policy and the Terms and Conditions.

If you are under 16 years, you are required to inform a parent or guardian about our Privacy Policy and the Terms and Conditions and obtain their consent to the Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions before registering your details or placing an order with PRECIOUS PEG.

 

PERSONAL INFORMATION AND HOW WE COLLECT IT

PRECIOUS PEG collects personal information which may contain personal information in several ways when you place an order, buy a gift voucher for a friend or register for a service offered by PRECIOUS PEG. By registering, you are consenting to the collection of your personal information. If you place an order with us, we need to hold your personal information including your name, email address, phone numbers and shipping and billing address(es) so that we can process and fulfill your order.

We may also obtain your personal information as a result of authentication or identity checks. Sometimes we may ask for your telephone number. This number may be given to our courier for delivery services. These details allow us to process your order and to let you know the status of your order.

We do not hold credit or debit card details in our system.

 

HOW YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION IS USED AND SOMETIMES SHARED.

PRECIOUS PEG may use your personal information for the processing of orders, payments and to provide you with a personalised shopping experience. We will also use your personal information to fulfill and deliver your orders and manage your account.  Personal information that you provide may be disclosed to a credit reference or fraud prevention agency, which may keep a record of that information. Your personal information may be transferred when there is a legal obligation to do so to any relevant government, judicial and regulatory body. 

We may also use your personal information to send you marketing updates but only ever in accordance with your preferences.  We do not sell your personal information to third party marketing companies.

We do collate general information about site traffic, sales, wish lists, and other commercial information which we may pass on to third parties but this information does not include any personal information which can identify you personally.

We may use your personal information for our internal and demographic studies, together with non-personal data to monitor customer patterns so we can consistently improve our site design to better meet our visitor amd customer needs.

 

DIRECT MARKETING

We may use your personal information in direct marketing provided we have your consent (which includes an indication of no objection).  We would like to use your personal information in our records including your name, phone number, email and/or correspondence address to send you marketing materials. When you register, you will be given the opportunity to subscribe to our regular update service including our newsletter email and direct mail alerts for new products, features, enhancements, special offers, sales, upgrade opportunities, contests, events of interest, and one-off marketing promotions. Such alerts may include marketing information about clothing, shoes, bags and accessories offered by PRECIOUS PEG.   

We do not sell or otherwise pass your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes. 

At all times, we will offer you the opportunity to unsubscribe out of any service or update to which you have subscribed, if you change your mind. Any e-mail we send you will contain an easy automated unsubscribe link so that you can cancel out of any service or update. HOW TO ACCESS AND UPDATE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION 

If for any reason you are concerned that the personal information held by PRECIOUS PEG is not correct, please visit the website and login to your account using the "Login" menu on the home page. Your personal information will be made available for review and updating in the "My Account" section. Only you can access your personal information using your password and User ID.  If you change your billing or shipping address while your order is still being processed, the order will be re-processed through security validation checks. If you prefer, you may contact us by email at sales@preciouspeg.com and we will amend your personal information.

 

RETAINING PERSONAL INFORMATION

We will not keep your personal information longer than is necessary for fulfilment of the purposes specified above for which they are, or are to be, used.  Personal information provided by you is retained if the purpose for which the personal information was collected still exists or is required by law, statute or regulation.
